TclRobots is played by two or more programs each of which control a simulated battle robot. Robot code is written in the Tcl programming language.


History

Tom Poindexter released TclRobots in August 1994. Version 2.0 was released in February 1996 and added team communication. In 2010-2011, Jonas Ferry, Peter Spjuth and Martin Lindskog updated the code to version 3.0 alpha.

Arena

The arena is 1000×1000m with the origin at the bottom left. 0° is to the right, increasing anti-clockwise.
