SURFIT is a game played between two or more programs in computer memory. The aim is to occupy the most regions of memory at the end of the game.


SURFIT (SURvival of the FITtest) was a programming game played in the 1960s and described in Ted Nelson's Computer Lib / Dream Machines. Ted Nelson has confirmed that SURFIT is another name for Darwin.
