AT-Robots is a game played by up to 32 programs which each control a tank.
Ed T. Toton III released AT-Robots (Advanced T-Robots) as shareware in February 1992. AT-Robots was updated to version 2 in March 1997.
Tanks have customizable attributes such as weapon damage, armor, and speed, and use a point buy system for balance. The primary offense is a projectile that travels roughly 3x the speed of tanks. Projectiles are unlimited, but produce heat which dissipates over time. The tanks are programmed in T-Robot assembly language. The primary input scans an arc of variable size, and return the distance to the closest target, if any.
